A team of IES and IMO scientists will travel to Bárðarbunga today (Sunday) to reoccupy ~10 campaign GPS sites north-west of the volcano. The measurements are complementary to those being acquired at the continuous GPS sites and will provide additional constraints on ground displacements in the area by increasing the spatial density of deformation measurements.
